Global University is a university that offers distance education.  It has developed versatile courses that can be used for personal spiritual edification, proclaiming, teaching new Christians and training church workers. Over half a million students are studying its courses through 232 offices in 180 countries in 124 languages.

Global University Finland is the distance education unit of Iso Kirja Education Center. It offers distance education from individual courses to international academic degrees in Finnish, English, French, and Spanish. Through the Finnish GU office, more than 200 students have completed a BA degree and more than 30 students a MA degree.

You can study for the following degrees, for instance: Diploma  (64 cr.), Bachelor of Arts (128 cr.) and Master of Arts (36 cr.) for post-graduate studies.

Global University offers study materials designed for independent study. Some of the courses are available on CD-ROM,  videos or tapes. It is also possible to study courses in English through the Internet at .

Global University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA/HLC) and by The Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Cuncil (DETC).
