Camping

Iso Kirja Camping is a Christian camping area by a lake in Keuruu, Central Finland.

Iso Kirja Camping serves from the beginning of June to mid-August. Reception is open daily 9 am - 11 pm.

Iso Kirja is a Christian education and conference center.  It is located by lake Pohjoisjärvi (Northern lake), in the beautiful nature of Keuruu, Keski-Suomi.  The non-smoking and alcohol-free camping ground has an area of over 60 hectares.

We offer travellers a good quality of camping services.  SiCafe, our pleasant cafe, is the center of service where you can find the reception as well as the kitchen and shower facilities.  The cafe also offers basic accessories for campers.  In addition, Iso Kirja has a cafeteria, Iso Pata, where campers can purchase warm meals. 

Our area offers a variety of possibilities to arrenge camps, conferences, meetings and other functions.  Our clients have the chance to rent several conference rooms or tents for bigger groups.

We also offer a number of cabins to be rented throughout the year.  All of the (well-equipped) cabins have electricity and they are located in the pinewood forest by the lake.

During the year we organize several courses, camps and larger events.  The largest event is the Midsummer festival, which is the main event for the Finnish Pentecostal Church.  The function gathers about 30 000 participants. The main services at the conference are translated simultanously into English, German, French and Russian, among others.
